The question is, can hypnosis help your business, and the answer is unequivocally yes. I can say that with such certainty because our personal lives are ALWAYS reflected in our professional lives, and that any challenges we face professionally, can always be addressed on a personal level.

So why does hypnosis work?  First of all, the average adult spends most of their waking hours (as in almost 100%) in what’s called beta brain waves. Beta brain waves are when we’re thinking, we’re busy, when we’re stressed out,  etc. Apha brain waves, on the other hand, are considered the genius brain wave. Mainly because people who can hold prolonged alpha waves are the ones who invent and create amazing things. It’s also when we’re more relaxed, and are most frequently noted when you first wake up in the morning when you’re first falling asleep at night. Now obviously we operate in beta brain waves most of the time, but as I’m sure you’ll agree, we live in a society that is also very stressed out, so learning to reduce your brain waves at least once a day when you’re awake and with intention, can be one of the most life altering things you can experience; especially if you do it every day.

Hypnosis works because reduced brain waves open the gateway between the conscious and the unconscious mind. We have to remember that the conscious brain accounts for only 5% of your thinking and your unconscious brain accounts for at least 95%. That means that most everything you do almost every day is on autopilot;  both good habits and bad habits, and where it gets really tricky, is that when we have dis-empowering beliefs–which by the way most everyone does—we don’t even realize how they hold us back. And since reduced brain waves open that gateway, it allows us to imprint  new images and experiences on the unconscious/subconscious mind.

Most dis-empowering beliefs show up as procrastination, fear,and self-sabotaging behavior—which is saying you want one things but doing the exact opposite of what it takes to get it. For example, telling me how committed you are to losing 20 pounds with your hand in a bag of Frito’s.

Because the unconscious/subconscious mind cannot tell the difference between what is real and what is imagined, over time your brain is convinced that whatever you are imagining with emotion, is an actual experience. Then your brain becomes like a heat-seeking missile; it will help you become the person who has that very experience. It will notice the people and circumstances that you may not have otherwise paid any attention to. And the great part of it is that the changes in your habits and behavior, thus your actions, will begin to seem almost effortless because they’re being carried out almost unconsciously. Just IMAGINE if you could put good habits on auto pilot!
